Welcome to ReccoHub ("ReccoHub," "Platform," "Service," "we," "our," or "us"), a product owned and operated by House Code Green LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company ("Company").

This Privacy Policy describes how House Code Green LLC collects, uses, stores, processes, shares, discloses, retains, protects, and otherwise handles information relating to individuals who access or use the Services.

This Privacy Policy applies to users located in the United States and is intended to comply with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws. By accessing or using ReccoHub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection and use of your information across ReccoHub mobile applications, websites, APIs, business dashboards, community features, event sponsorship services, and related products and services.

3. Definitions

  • Personal Information — information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
  • Consumer — an individual acting in a personal or household capacity.
  • Business User — a business entity or representative using ReccoHub business services.
  • Verified Transaction — a transaction supported by receipt upload, proof of purchase, or transaction validation.
  • AI Services — artificial intelligence systems used for review generation, sentiment analysis, recommendation analysis, fraud detection, and business insights.
  • Community Referral — a recommendation relationship between users involving verified local businesses or services.

4. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, registered users, consumers, business users, sponsors, referral participants, event organizers, and any individuals interacting with ReccoHub services.

It does not apply to third-party websites, external services, or third-party applications not controlled by House Code Green LLC.

5. Information We Collect

5.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account registration: name, username/display name, email, phone number, password credentials, authentication identifiers, Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple information
  • Consumer profile: home address and ZIP code, the homes you add, and the products and services you record for them
  • Business profile: business name, address, category, phone, website, hours, sponsorship preferences, payment setup
  • Household & product: product and service names, retailer or provider, purchase date and amount, warranty expiry, serial number and manual link where you enter them, and the reminders you set
  • Receipt & transaction: merchant name, date/time, receipt number, amount, tax, store location, line-item details, uploaded images/PDFs and business identifiers. A receipt image may show your name or the last digits of a card; it is stored privately, read to verify the purchase, and never shown publicly or sold.
  • Reviews & recommendations: ratings, reviews, AI-assisted review inputs, recommendation relationships and referral activity. Your display name, your reviews and your referral code are visible to other members, and reviews are visible to the public.
  • Event sponsorship: event details, sponsorship requests, location, descriptions, organizer information, business participation details
  • Communications: customer support messages, survey responses, emails, feedback, chat interactions
  • Contacts: if you choose to invite friends from your phone's contacts, the app reads your contacts on your device and sends us only the email address or phone number of each person you pick, so we can create their invite. That address is kept with the invite so we can connect you when they join. Your contact list itself is not uploaded or stored.

5.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & technical: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, app version, mobile carrier, language settings, crash reports, diagnostics
  • Usage: pages viewed, features used, searches, clickstream data, timestamps, navigation paths, referral URLs, interaction data
  • Location: ZIP code, city/state, approximate geolocation from IP, optional device location if permission granted
  • Cookies & similar technologies: the sign-in cookies and local storage the Services need to work. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on ReccoHub.

5.3 Information From Third Parties

  • Google and Apple sign-in, our payment processor (Stripe), the app stores for in-app purchases, the business directory and map providers we use to list and locate businesses, point-of-sale reports a business uploads, our cloud infrastructure (AWS) and AI service providers

6. How We Use Information

  • Platform operations: create and manage accounts, authenticate users, support profile toggling, manage multiple homes, organize household records, provide community features, enable sponsorship workflows
  • Verified review system: verify purchases, validate reviews, prevent fake reviews, confirm referral eligibility, support cashback validation
  • Rewards & referral programs: calculate cashback, validate rewards, manage referral relationships, prevent abuse, process sponsorship participation
  • Fraud prevention & security: detect duplicate receipts, identify suspicious activity, monitor abuse, investigate fraud, enforce policies, protect businesses and users
  • AI services & analytics: generate editable review drafts, summarize feedback, analyze sentiment, identify trends, generate business insights, improve fraud detection
  • Communications: account notifications, reminders, transactional messages, security alerts, billing notices, sponsorship updates, support responses (users may opt out of certain marketing communications)
  • Legal compliance: comply with laws, enforce agreements, respond to legal requests, protect rights and safety, resolve disputes

7. AI & Automated Processing

Users may provide keywords, ratings, tags, and voice/text input, and AI may generate editable review drafts. AI-generated reviews are not automatically published, may be edited by users, and are based only on user-provided inputs.

AI systems may analyze customer feedback, sentiment, ratings, trends, and referral performance to produce business insights. Automated systems may detect duplicate receipts, suspicious referral patterns, reward abuse, and flag suspicious activities. Users may contact us regarding disputes or account actions.

8. Verified Reviews & Incentivized Feedback

ReccoHub requires proof of purchase for reviews. Every published review earns its author Reccos, a non-cash social currency for helping fellow community members, whatever its rating, and reviews are shown with a notice saying so. Some purchases also carry a cash reward when a referral code is used at a business in the cashback program, and those reviews are marked as such. Fraudulent reviews and manipulated transactions are prohibited.

9. How We Share Information

9.1 With Businesses

Businesses may access customer reviews, referral information, transaction metadata, cashback validation information, customer insights, and recommendation analytics. Businesses do not receive raw payment card information.

9.2 With Service Providers

We may share information with vendors providing hosting, authentication, payment processing, cloud storage, analytics, AI processing, communications, fraud prevention, and customer support.

9.3 With Legal Authorities

We may disclose information when required by law, in response to subpoenas, court orders, government requests, investigations, or to protect rights and safety.

9.4 Business Transfers

Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, financing, or sale of assets.

10. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. ReccoHub does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment credentials. Payment processors maintain their own privacy and security practices.

11. Data Retention

We keep your account information, homes, products, receipts, reviews and rewards for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we delete them, together with the files you uploaded. We keep invoices already issued to a business, payouts already made to you, tax records and dispute records for seven years after the event, as financial-record and tax laws require, and we keep fraud-prevention records (such as receipt fingerprints and the reason an account was closed) for as long as needed to stop the same abuse recurring. Server and security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

12. Security Measures

We implement reasonable safeguards including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • AWS security services
  • Access controls and IAM least-privilege access
  • Audit logging and security monitoring
  • Private storage systems
  • Fraud monitoring and vulnerability management

13. Children's Privacy

ReccoHub is intended only for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children or teenagers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we may delete it.

14. User Rights & Choices

Users may request:

  • Access to personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of certain data
  • Export of eligible account information
  • Subscription changes
  • Communication preference updates

15. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know collected information, request deletion, request correction, and limit certain sharing activities. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

16. Do Not Track

Browser "Do Not Track" signals may not be recognized consistently due to varying industry standards.

17. Third-Party Links & Services

ReccoHub integrates with Google, Apple, Stripe, AWS, AI service providers and point-of-sale report formats. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

18. International Users

ReccoHub is intended primarily for users in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States.

19. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account at any time from Settings in the ReccoHub app or website, or by contacting support@reccohub.com. Certain information may be retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial reporting, dispute resolution, and audit obligations.

20. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes may be communicated through email, app notifications, or website notices. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

22. Platform Integrity & Trust Principles

ReccoHub is built around verified customer experiences, trusted recommendations, responsible AI usage, transparent reward systems, fraud prevention, and community accountability. We may suspend or terminate accounts engaging in fake reviews, duplicate receipt submissions, manipulated referrals, abusive reward activity, fraudulent sponsorship activity, platform abuse, or policy violations.

23. User Consent

By using ReccoHub, users consent to the collection and processing of information described herein, receipt verification workflows, AI-assisted processing, fraud monitoring systems, referral validation systems, community recommendation functionality, sponsorship processing, business analytics generation, and applicable notifications and communications.
